Product Description : EXPECTATIONS AND PREPARATIONS
The Institute of Nail Technology is proud to offer you a professional mentoring program designed for your successful entry into the beauty industry as a professional Nail Technician.
INT 101 Deluxe Gel is a beginner program, which will provide you with the fundamental skills necessary to become an accomplished Nail Technician. This program is conducted in a small personal class setting including an essential start up kit. INT 101 is twenty hours of training completed over a four week period. This period of four weeks is broken down into two focus areas:
Focus 1
4 Week Skill Development Program:
- 20 hours hands on training
- 2 classes, 8 hours per class(New set, French fills)
- 1 class, 4 hours (Pedique, Color Gel Application )
This portion of your INT 101 program is the foundation to your development as a Professional Nail Technician. You will spend the entire time with your INT Educator covering a series of skills, individual scenarios and troubleshooting opportunities. Securing dependable models and working within the time frame outlined is in your best interest to gain the very most from your commitment to INT 101.
Focus 2
4 Week Home Study Program:
- A minimum of five new nail sets
- A minimum of five nail fills
- A minimum of three pediques
- Study and review work with INT manual
- Preparation for a one hour written exam
- Conditioning for a 2 hour practical exam
This portion of the INT 101 program relies heavily on your self-motivation to develop your skills to a degree that will enable you to successfully service a clientele as a Professional Nail Technician.
For INT to ensure that this happens, we will require a short report on each of the services required in the Home Study portion of INT 101 (a form will be provided). These reports must be returned to your INT Educator on your exam date. |
