EXPECTATIONS AND PREPARATIONS
The Institute of Nail Technology is proud to offer you a professional mentoring workshop designed for your successful entry into the beauty industry as a professional.
INT 603 is a beginner program, which will provide you with the fundamental skills necessary to become a wax/tint technician. This program is conducted on a private or semi private setting. INT 603 is 8 hours of training completed over a 1 day period. This period of one day is broken down into two focus areas:
Focus 1
1 Day Skill Development Program:
- 8 hours hands on training
- Day 1 – morning tinting
- Day 2 – afternoon waxing
This portion of your INT 603 program is the foundation to your development as a Professional Wax/Tint Technician. You will spend the entire time with your INT Educator covering a series of skills, individual scenarios and troubleshooting opportunities. Securing dependable models and working within the time frame outlined is in your best interest to gain the very most from your commitment to INT 603.
Focus 2
4 Week Home Study Program:
- A minimum of five wax services
- A minimum of five tint services
- Study and review work with your INT manual as preparation for exam
- Three hour written and practical exam
This portion of the INT 603 program relies heavily on your self-motivation to develop your skills to a degree that will enable you to successfully service a clientele as a Professional wax/Tint Technician.
For INT to ensure that this happens, we will require a short report on each of the services required in the Home Study portion of INT 603 (a form will be provided). These reports must be returned to your INT Educator prior to, or on your exam date.
